Conduct of Limited Department Competitive Examination for LGOs for promotion to the cadre of PA/SA from Postman/Mail Guard, Despatch Riders and MTS cadres.
The Limited Department Competitive Examination for LGOs for promotion to the cadre of PA/SA from Postman/Mail Guard, Despatch Riders and MTS cadres. Since the current contract with the outsourced agency has expired & the finalization of the new agency may take some time and keeping in view the fact that Circles are facing shortage of manpower due to large number of vacancies, it has been decided to conduct the LGO exam in-house.22 Circles have been divided into four groups as under:- Group Circles -Group I North East, Assam, West Bengal, Bihar, Jharkhand and Orissa Group II U.P, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, J&K, Punjab and Haryana Group III Delhi, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat and Maharashtra Group IV Karnataka, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, Tamilnadu and Chhattisgarh A Circle is being nominated through a separate order for setting up and moderation of the Question Paper. Nominated Circle will set four sets of question papers for the four groups of Circles and will send the same to all other Circles. All Circles will conduct the examination for that notify the said examination.
