Indian army's Agnipath recruitment scheme, age limit, how to join explained
Agneepath or Agnipath Recruitment scheme was launched by the Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh today. In a step that promises radical changes in recruitment for the Indian Armed Forces, Agneepath scheme would add 46,000 soldiers to Indian Army, Indian Navy and India Air Force. The scheme was announced in a media briefing shortly after the cabinet committee approved the same.

The armed forces would soon conduct Recruitment rallys at various campuses and special rallys. Enrollment would be done through an online centralised system for all three services.
